Road Closures

We work closely with local parishes and authorities to minimise any traffic disruption on race day, however we do provide advance notice that there will be some road closures and some disruption on Sunday 4 October, to ensure the safety of all runners. Please click here for more information.

Runner Drink Stations

There will be 12 water stations around the course, as located on the above race map.

In addition to water for all runners, we expect there to be:

  • Energy drinks (Normally Powerade ION4) available for Marathon Runners from water stations 3 onwards.
  • Jelly Babies – for those need a sugar boost!
  • Bananas – for Marathon Runners from water stations 3 onwards
  • Chocolate pieces

For full fuelling station information click here

*Exact drinks and fuelling options to be confirmed in due course.

Relay changeovers

There are four relay changeover points (RCOP):

RCOP1: Waterworks Valley
RCOP2: St.Ouens
RCOP3: Les Quennevais
RCOP4: Les Quennevais

Relay runners should collect their finisher t-shirt and medal from the relay changeover point they have finished at.

Parking

There are no facilities for parking at the Relay Race change over points. With the large number of runners participating in the event, we need to significantly reduce the number of vehicles on the route.

Relay Race runners MUST use the FREE coach transportation to/from their relay station as parking will not be permitted.

    • Relay Changeover 1: No Parking Available. DO NOT drive to the Relay Station as the Road is Closed!
  • Relay Changeover 2: No Parking Available.  DO NOT drive to the Relay Station. In 2020 The Parish of St Ouen will be closing some roads and diverting cars around the village. Relay Race runners MUST use the FREE coach transportation to/from this relay station
    • Relay Changeover 3 + 4 – Les Quennevais Sports Centre public parking – Please note parking is extremely limited in this car park.
