Did you know the Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon involves approx. 450+ volunteers. This event would simply not operate without the huge support from the community. We thank all our past and present volunteers!
Would you like to be part of the excitement of the day but don’t want to run? Why not volunteer to be part of the race crew and help make the event a success? It takes hundreds of people to ensure the event runs smoothly, so becoming a Jersey Marathon volunteer means you play an active role in the overall success of the event, whilst also allowing you to support your friends, family and charity teams.

Volunteers roles
Course Marshals – this is crucial to the event to make sure the runners stay safely on the course. We require approximately 160 course marshals to operate the event safely, so please support the event and its good causes.
You don’t need any experience to take part in the Jersey Marathon as a volunteer.
You just need between 4-7 hours free on Race Day and be willing to join in the fun. We will provide full training and a packed lunch in 2024.
Volunteers should be over the age of 18 on the day of the race or should be part of a recognised group under the supervision of a leader over the age of 18.
